Doing work with Lucy

Though I will let Dan tell you more about working with Lucy, our draft horse, since being pregnant has limited my own involvement in this activity, Ifelt I had to blog about how amazing it has been to watch Lucy work with so much will and desire. Every time Dan hooks up Lucy's harness it is with awe that I've watched Lucy get herself into work mode. You would not guess from watching her in pasture that she has so much energy and of course she also has incredible power. Her power can be intimidating though her kind nature allows us to trust her good will and intentions. Here are some pictures of her and Dan bringing some fire wood logs back to the barn and disking the field.
